地狱是这个世界上最被憎恨的真理，
而且是被那些背道的神学家、传道人或自由派思想污染得最严重的真理。他们憎恨有关地狱的信息，他们咬牙切齿，强烈反对“永恒地狱”这个观念，尤其是当人们提到其中有痛苦、恐惧以及真实的火焰时。
但你看，他们说地狱与耶稣基督的爱不相容，而人性本能地排斥“永远的定罪、永恒的折磨、哀哭、切齿”这样的思想。
从这真理第一次被传讲直到今天，一直如此，而如今比以往任何时候都更甚。关于地狱的信息被嘲笑、被软化、被贬低，人们竭尽一切努力想把它解释掉，好像神不敢宣告祂对罪的愤怒似的。
我的圣经清楚地告诉我：神既是圣洁的神，同时也是向罪发怒的神。整本圣经都充满了关于神忿怒的教导。
大卫曾宣讲神的忿怒。他说：
“神啊，你的手要搜出你的一切仇敌，你的右手要搜出那些恨你的人。你发怒的时候，要使他们如在炎热的炉中，耶和华要在他的震怒中吞灭他们，火要烧尽他们。”
耶利米也宣讲神审判的忿怒。他说：
“耶和华是真神，是活神，是永远的王；他一发怒，大地就震动，列国都担当不起他的恼怒。”
当祂在怒气和烈怒中行动时，没有人能站立得住。
朋友们，这些不都在你们的圣经里吗？那为什么还有传道人敢说神没有地狱？神对罪和不义有猛烈的忿怒表达，这是神对罪的完全恨恶。地狱原是为魔鬼和他的使者所预备的，神确实创造了一个地狱，作为祂忿怒的器皿。
你可能会说：“慈爱的耶稣怎么会创造一个如此可怕、超出人想象的地狱？”
但那样的痛苦要持续到永恒，是为不敬虔的人和犯罪的人预备的。耶稣一次又一次地警告人这件事，祂不仅对众人讲，也对祂的朋友、祂的门徒讲。
听听耶稣怎么说：
“我的朋友，我告诉你们，那杀身体以后不能再作什么的，不要怕他们。我要指示你们当怕的是谁：就是那杀了以后又有权柄把人丢在地狱里的。我实在告诉你们，正要怕他。”
是谁说的？是耶稣说的。
祂对朋友讲，对已经得救的人讲。
那地狱是什么样的？地狱将会是什么样？
地狱是一个黑暗的国度，既是字面意义上的，也是属灵意义上的。
你要记得，在神的国里，不再需要日头、月亮或星辰，因为耶稣就是那灯。那城不需要日月光照，因为神的荣耀光照其中，羔羊就是城的灯。我们在荣耀里唯一的光，就是神本性与圣洁的荣光，照亮祂所创造的新世界。
但地狱却是永远的黑暗，是一种折磨人的、令人窒息的黑暗。这是神所创造的黑暗，是我们无法理解的黑暗。耶稣说：“天国的子民反要被丢在外面的黑暗里，在那里必要哀哭切齿。”
那是一种可以被“感受到”的黑暗，是令人痛苦的黑暗。
此外，还有属灵的黑暗。“外面的黑暗”意味着被不断地、越来越远地与神隔绝，是一种持续加深的属灵黑暗。
圣经称地狱为“火湖”。地狱不仅仅是被神离弃或被抛弃，地狱是刑罚。它不仅是监牢，更是惩罚，是在烈火中施行的报应，向那些不认识神、不顺从主耶稣基督福音的人施行报应。他们要受刑罚，就是永远沉沦，离开主的面和他权能的荣光。犹大书说：“受永火的刑罚，遭受报应。”
神会恨罪多久？
只要祂还是神，就会恨罪到永远。因为这是祂的本性。祂永远不会停止恨恶罪。只要神恨罪，地狱就存在。地狱永远不会结束，永远、永远不会结束。
地狱是一个向神充满愤怒与仇恨的地方，人们会向十字架发怒，因为那是唯一的出路、唯一的救恩之门——耶稣的死、埋葬和复活。
谁会下地狱？
如果你在这份名单中，愿神把祂圣洁的敬畏放在你心里，使你今晚悔改：胆怯的、不信的、可憎的、杀人的、行淫的、行邪术的、拜偶像的，以及一切说谎的人，都在烧着硫磺与火的湖里，这是第二次的死。
谁会下地狱？
凡名字没有记在生命册上的，都被扔在火湖里。圣经说，唯有名字记在羔羊生命册上的人才能得救。
如果你真的相信我今晚所传讲的真理，你就不可能还能长时间坐在电视机前，而不进入密室，为你的孩子、为你未得救的亲人痛哭流泪。
如果你真的相信永恒的地狱，为什么还如此沉迷于这个世界的事？为什么我们不痛哭流泪，像在烈火中一样？为什么我们不更多地为自己被从地狱中抢救出来而欢喜？
耶稣，求你现在大大地差遣圣灵。
现在安静地对付我们的心。
圣灵，现在就运行在这里。
把这会众中的背道者带回来，把心冷淡的、正在漂流的人带回来，把他们带回家，主耶稣。
Hell is the most hated truth in the world, the tainted most by backslidden theologians and preachers or liberal. They hate the message on hell, the veil and master teeth against the very idea of an eternal health, especially if there's laughs and terror and literal fire. But you see, they say that hell is not compatible with the love of Jesus Christ, and human nature recoils at the very thought of eternal damnation, everlasting torment, weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth.
We saw this truth from the very first time it's been preached to this last day, and more so now than ever. The message of health been ridiculed, it's being softened, it's discounted. Every effort's made to explain it away, that God is not ashamed to declare His wrath against you. My Bible is full of the fact that God, being a holy God, is also a wrathful God against sin. The Bible is full of when He's concerning the wrath of God.
David preached the wrath of God. He said, “Your hand of God shall find out all your enemies, your right hand shall find out those who hate you. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven at the time of your wrath and anger. The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.”
Jeremiah preached the judgment, wrath of God. He said that the Lord is the true God, He's the living God, He's the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations are not be able to endure His indignation. No one's going to stand when He moves in His anger and rage.
And sin is that in your Bible, friends. And how is it that ministers would say that God has no hell? There's a fierce expression of God's wrath against sin and unrighteousness. It's the full expression of God's hatred towards sin. It was preparing recently for the devil and his angels. God has created a hell, a permit indignation for His wrath.
You say, how could loving Jesus create a hell so horrible it's beyond imagination? And His pain lasts unto eternity. It is going to be spent on the ungodly and the sinful. Jesus warned about this over and over again. He preached it to His friends. He's talking to His disciples. Listen to what He said: “And I've said unto you, my friends, do not be afraid of them that kill the body and after that have no more power that they can do. And I'll tell you who you severe fear: Him which after He is killed the body has power to cast you into hell. Yeah, I say to you, fear Him.”
Who said that? Jesus said that. He preached it to His friends. He preached it to those who are saved.
What is hell like? What is hell going to be like? Hell is a kingdom of darkness, literally and spiritually. Now remember, in God's kingdom that's not going to be the need of sun or moon or stars, because Jesus, the lamp, will be the night. The city had no need of the sun, neither the moon, decide, for the glory of the Lord God lighted it up, and the Lamb is the light thereof. The only light that we have in glory is the brilliance of His nature and His holiness that's going to shine throughout the new world that He creates.
But there is a hell that is eternal darkness. It's going to be a tormenting darkness, a suffocating. It's going to be a darkness created by God, that's a darkness we don't understand. Jesus' word: “But the children of the kingdom shall be cast into outer darkness. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” This is a darkness suffocating, can be felt. It's going to be a darkness that causes pain.
There's also a spiritual darkness. This outer darkness describes being cast further and further away from God. There's going to be ever-increasing spiritual darkness.
Now the Bible calls hell a lake of fire. Now hell is more than just being forsaken by God or abandoned. Hell is punishment. It's not just the prison, it's punishment. It's vengeance in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God and that do not obey the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall be punished, punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. Jude said, “Suffering the vengeance of eternal fire, suffering the vengeance.”
How long will God hate sin? As long as He's God. He cannot stop hating sin into eternity, because that's His nature. He'll hate sin all through eternity. There'll be a hell as long as God hates sin. It's never ended, never, never ended hell.
It's a place of rage and hatred toward God. They're going to rage against the cross because it was the only way out, and the only way of salvation, the only door: the death, the burial, the resurrection of Jesus.
Who's going to hell? If you find yourself in this list, may God put His holy fear in your heart, bring you to repentance tonight. But the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
Who's going to hell? Whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. And the Bible said only those written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be saved.
If you really believe what I preached tonight, there's no way on this earth that you can sit for hours in front of a television set without getting into a secret closet, weeping for your children, your unsaved loved ones. If you believe what on three, two, the best eternal hell, why are you so wrapped up in the things of this world? Why don't we weeping as a furnace, a public eye? And why are we rejoicing more about being pulled as a brand right out of hell?
Jesus, send the Holy Ghost mightily right now. Quietly deal with us now. Reach out, Holy Spirit, now. All of this congregation, bring in the backslider, bring in those that are cold at heart, bring in those that are drifting, bring them home, Jesus.
