the day that the Lord has
made in that he is blessing for the children of God who will be humble to
repent to confess their sins and to come out of the world to get rid of their
parasites to get rid of everything that is causing us to stumble and fall to
worldliness into evil into wickedness. What a blessing it is that God is giving
us the opportunity to change and to turn to Him before it's too late the thing
that the Lord has been showing me and that we ourselves need to make sure that
our hearts are right before God is that we daily are abiding in Jesus Christ
for our salvation. Too many Christians are just looking for an easy ticket into
heaven. They're looking for salvation without being connected to Jesus Christ
and there is no such thing there's no such thing as once saved always saved so
many believers supposed believers in Jesus just think that they can have a bit
of religion go to church read their Bible and because that they have believed
things about Jesus they're safe and secure there's no such thing as just being
saved in this earth people go around boasting that they are saved that they're
Christians and that they're secure in their salvation. Many Christians are over
secure in their salvation and the reason that they have everlasting life is
because they think they're entitled to it they believe that when they die
they'll stand before God and they'll have the right words to prove to God that
he must let them into heaven. They think that they're gonna force God's hands
behind his back and manipulate God to let them in we should not be overly
secure in our salvation because God has the power to cast our souls into hell
it's only those who were worthy if you haven't read about the faith chapter in
Hebrews I encourage you to read it to see the sort of people that made it into
heaven they weren't people who were receiving the promises in this world just receiving
the blessing now living life now as many Christians think that they will but
the blessings that they looked for were blessings that were far off in the
kingdom of God the blessing of eternal life the blessings that come when we
honor God with all our heart and lay down our life for him. In Hebrews it
speaks of people who were slain by the sword who were killed who were stoned
who were sawn in two who went around in sheepskin and went through wildernesses
and deserts and lived in caves those were the sorts of people who made it into
the everlasting kingdom because they fully lay down their life for the gospel
the testimony of Jesus Christ in doing his work Jesus did not say that we were
saved on this earth but that he who endures to the end will be saved a lot of
people like to talk about the rapture and just being raptured up to heaven how
do you suppose you're gonna get to heaven you're not gonna get there physically
you're not just gonna be raptured what do you think that looks like physically
you will have to die every single one of us have to die both physically and
spiritually we have to die to ourselves either you're gonna die to the gospel
and you're gonna live for the flesh you're gonna be alive to the flesh or
you're gonna die to your flesh and the gospel of Jesus Christ is going to
become alive to you and then one day you're physically gonna die and Jesus will
receive you into his kingdom because you died to your flesh we have to die
there's no such thing as just being raptured out of our problems raptured out
of this world you know Christians are waiting for the rapture and they think
that they're just going to heaven because they were saved what wickedness and
what hypocrisy it is to believe that we're just safe and secure and saved but living
our lives for ourselves consider all of those that went before us that did make
it into the kingdom of God consider that all of Jesus disciples they did not
live easy lives sitting back watching TV living for themselves living for work
living to make money and just hanging out with their friends but they laid down
their lives for the sake of Jesus Christ in the true gospel daily they were
preaching the truth they were teaching others that Jesus Christ is the one and
only way to everlasting life people were putting their faith in him for real
but today we have such fake Christianity that people believe that they can
completely live in the flesh completely live for themselves they're
self-entitled believers thinking that they will go to heaven because they
believe their churches statements of faith I encourage you to get away from the
Christian culture get away from the Christian church their heretics they're on
their way to hell because they refuse the salvation that Jesus Christ has
offered for their false sense of security if you're still walking around on
this earth you're not saved there's still the possibility that you're gonna
fall to sin you're gonna be cut off from the living and that God is gonna cast
you away from him because you did not complete the race every single one of us
are in this race but we have to daily deny ourselves take up our cross and we
have to endure to the very end and if we don't endure to the end until the
point where we die continuing to praise Jesus and enter into his gates entering
through him through the promise then we're not gonna make it don't be overly
confident that you're saved just thinking you've done something in the past
that you're gonna make it into heaven because the preacher said you're saved
don't worry about your salvation don't worry about those sins in your life you
need to worry about your sin problem you need to worry that your family is on
their way to hell you need to concern yourself with that because the reality is
almost everyone is going to hell if the righteous are scarcely saved meaning
even those who are trying to make it into heaven don't get in where do you
think those that are sinning are going to go? very few people are making it
into heaven very few people will be accepted by Jesus Christ Jesus loves all of
us he loves all of his creation he's made the way for us to repent Jesus died
on the cross so that we could put our faith in him and overcome but it's not as
simple as just thinking that thinking that Jesus has done everything on the
cross I know that he did that it's written in the scriptures to truly believe
in Jesus means putting all of your faith in him and that belief comes with
actions proving that you really love Jesus people talk about how it's by faith
alone not by works they think that you don't have to work for your salvation
what if you applied that to your marriage and you said to your wife I don't
have to work for my marriage I don't have to talk to you we're already married
anyone who is married that has a good relationship with their spouse knows it
takes hard work it takes diligence persistence love is a choice it's not just a
feeling it's a choice and we need to choose to be part of the marriage supper
of the Lamb it will take every bit of us everything that we have to enter in
and if there are people who are trying with all their might and not entering
that should give us some pause that should make us scared the reality is very
few people are making it they're falling to the distractions of the world
they're falling to sin to pornography to hatred to lies they're giving their
souls over to the things that this world has to offer that Satan has to offer
they're addicted to worldliness only those that overcome are going to be saved
only those who lay down their lives for Jesus Christ just as the disciples did
and all of those early believers who follow Jesus they preached the gospel they
lived holy they did the things that Jesus called them and they certainly were
not just sitting back relaxing doing nothing but they gave their lives for the
true gospel because they knew that the promise was everlasting life in Jesus
Christ there isn't another way there's not an easy gospel it's not just easy
believism just read your Bible and you'll see just get into a church just get
into a fellowship just get around other brothers and sisters just listen to
some Christian radio just put on some Christian music we need to be serious
about our faith denying ourselves taking up our cross every day putting on the
full armor of God rejecting the things that we know are evil and receiving the
things that come from the spirit of life will we enter in because we endure
with Jesus to the very end through trials through tribulations through good
times and bad times or will we be like the majority 99.99% of people who will
end up in hell even if they wanted to follow God because they never overcame
they didn't endure they didn't keep their eyes on the promise to the very end
don't be deceived by the fake gospel the Christian gospel that is spread all
the way through the world the false gospel that you're just saved that you need
to be really just secure in your salvation overly secure knowing that you're
going to heaven don't fall into that because that is Satan's gospel you need to
don't fall into that you need to daily deny yourself take up your cross and
follow Jesus otherwise you have no hope you have no salvation
