Alec： As Christie and I were praying last night, Jesus really waited heavily on my heart that the darkness that is on the face of this earth is everywhere. And when we are truly seeking after Jesus, when we are truly desiring a righteous and a holy relationship with the one who created you, and the one who died for you, the darkness will truly be everywhere. Jesus gives his disciples and his sheep the eyes to see and the ears to hear, and you see things of the spirit and you feel things of the spirit that you had never felt before, the things that you were enslaved to, and the things that you thought were just emotions or were just coincidence, but truly within the spirit realm. I guess you could say, there truly is only one good, there is only one light and there are endless amounts of darkness. And those endless amounts of darkness are the ones that lead to hell fire. And the one light which is Jesus Christ is the only way that leads to the kingdom of God.
And something I've observed lately with my walk in those who truly are seeking after him is that the devil night and day will continuously seek to drown you out with darkness to make your walk infinitely times as hard as what it was before. When you weren't really following Jesus, he wants to make things, he wants to lie to you, to condemn you and accuse you and be relentless in attacking you and shooting fiery arrows at you, so that you would go back into the darkness, because we truly are born in darkness when we don't have Jesus. And as I said he truly is the only light. He is the light of the world, and in him is no darkness. And as it says in scripture the darkness can't comprehend the light. And one of the amazing things though as we are choosing to follow Jesus is that we have the choice. We were made perfectly in his image with a choice, with free will.
It truly does go against a lot of doctrines, a lot of teachings of men and ways of men that give you much more assurance while being in sin or being in the darkness. It's almost a false light. It's a light that can easily be blown out, a light that will fade away as time goes by. But one of the things that Jesus reveals to his sheep is that he is the only way and the only truth and the only life. And we are to go to him and him alone, not to another man or a religion or a doctrine or denomination. Because just like the devil attacks you, the devil wants to tempt you and swage you with darkness in the form of light. And that's where it all comes down to Jesus gives us the choice. Do we seek after him? Do we seek his discernment? Do we seek his holy spirit? Because if we are seeking after him he will reveal all the truth to us. He will show us what is dark and what is light. and we are commanded to keep that which is light to hold fast to that which Jesus has shown us and to rebuke and remove all the things that are darkness, because it's a for darkness is a foreign element in the kingdom of God. And if we have that within us , if we are in this life and we have even the smallest amount of darkness within us, we will stand before Jesus and give an account for that darkness, be in sin, something unrepented, Jesus will say, “away with you, you that work iniquity, I never knew you.”
So Jesus gives you the choice to walk in the light, walk in him, abide in him, or to choose the darkness to walk in the dark. You won't even be able to see where you're walking. You'll stumble and you'll stay in the ditch.

Christie: Yeah, with that choice too. It's an everyday choice. It's not a one-time thing where you make up your mind "I'm gonna follow Jesus and be committed to following him." You do that but then it's an every day every moment you choose that you are going to overcome and you're going to be obedient to everything that Jesus shows you and teaches you. And it's moment by moment truly that you have to overcome. And you have no power over changing anything in the past or in the future, but you do have a choice in the moment of now. You have the choice if you will praise Jesus and be obedient to what he has shown you. Or if you're going to continue procrastinating and pushing it off and staying in the ditch that the devil pushes you into, not overcoming but just getting down and discouraged.
But it's a choice that if we're going to follow Jesus. We have to make it now. And we have to continue choosing to make that choice to keep following with him and pushing forward. Another thing that Jesus was showing me was just how in this time when the darkness is surrounding and evil is getting more and more rampant and the devil is attacking more and more. Even so through all of that, Jesus is still abundantly blessing his sheep and taking care of his children and protecting them, even at the same time while judging the world and the wicked. And we must continue staying separate from the world so that we don't take part in that judgment. We have to stay close to him and continue holding his hand and walking forward in faith to stay in his hand of protection and blessing, and to stay dependent on him.
Alec: Yeah, because if we are not depending on Jesus, if we are depending in our own ways, if we are trying to rely on ourselves, the darkness as a seed planted in the thorns or a seed that felled on the stony ground, it will be burnt and choked out, and you will grow nowhere closer to Jesus.
And as you were saying about the whole discouragement thing, early in my walk with Jesus, I noticed that as I would obey the convictions that he would place in my life, as he would convict me of certain sins, and I repented of them but I would fall back and I would stumble. The devil would lay such a heavy darkness upon me for days if not weeks, because I knew that what I did was wrong. And through that the devil wanted me to stay down. The devil did not want me to get back up, knowing that I felt the godly sorrow, I felt that I offended Jesus in what I had done. But I didn't know at the time that I had the choice to pick up my cross and move forward and not stay down looking backwards as the devil wants us to do. Jesus is very merciful and forgiving, but we truly have to cherish that mercy and not use it to as a perversion rather to fulfill your own desires, but rather if you're truly seeking repentance, if you're truly seeking to obey the living God, he honors that. He obviously hates sin. But if you do stumble, don't let the devil surround you with darkness thinking that you're just condemned and you're done and you're doomed. Because Jesus is merciful enough to give you the time to realize your error, to get back up and to pursue him again. It's such an amazing blessing to know that we have a forgiving and loving father to help us When we're down. he will chasten us and discipline us for what we had done. But he won't condemn us if we're truly seeking righteousness. And that's something I didn't realize and that's something that a lot of people who are just now starting to follow Jesus and to realize that, Yeah, the things that are happening on this earth, all the things that are going forward, all the things that are being fulfilled right now are not coincidence. It's obviously there's some supernatural thing and that's obviously Jesus's judgment all over the face of the earth. Such amazing and incredible things are happening and people are realizing that and coming to Jesus.
But it's very easy to want to go back because it was easier doing that. Jesus guaranteed us that we will have tribulation when we follow him. He guarantees us that there's going to be a battle, there's going to be a fight for your soul and it's not going to be a walk in the park. Because we have to understand that our soul is precious and we only have this one life to make sure that we are walking in upright and uprightness and holiness to Jesus. And the devil will do every single thing in the world known in his plethora of attacks to bring us back down, to bring us back into sin, to make us stay in the world, and to be caught up in God's judgment.
But as with anything Jesus gives us the choice, we can choose to stay to walk in the light while the light still remains. Because like it says in scripture, even before Jesus was crucified, Jesus says, “i will be with you a little while longer, the light will be with you a little while longer, and then I will leave the the light will be gone.” And nothing has changed. It's still the same. Jesus's hand of mercy and his grace, his light will be lifted up very shortly. And that's why it's important to choose now. The time that you've been given now to repent, and to get right with Jesus. But remember it's not going to be easy. Because as the devil attacks night and day, we must be resilient night and day. And Jesus gives us everything that we need to be victorious and to fight in the battle. He does give his soldiers, he does give his disciples when they ask for. What or how he says, if they're asking for a fish, do you think that their father will give them a stone? Jesus provides for us. He gives us exactly what we need and just enough to push forward and to fight. But we have to use that which Jesus gives us. If we don't use it, we're getting nowhere.

Christe: yeah, we definitely have to continue fighting each and every battle that comes up to us and not let ourselves wallow in the attacks of the enemy, but to really push forward with Jesus and to overcome. Because he says, “those who overcome are the ones who will receive the crown of life”. And we have to endure to the very end. It's not a one-time thing. It's a continual enduring and persevering to the very end. We have to keep going and keep fighting day and night. We can't give up because the devil will continue attacking us day and night.
Alec: Yeah, and just to sort of wrap it up. Remember that Jesus has called us to be the light of the world. He has commanded us to abide in him and to bear fruit for his kingdom. We cannot bear fruit for his kingdom if we're not walking in the light, if we are not seeking his holy spirit. He will give to those who seek if we knock on the door, the door will be opened, if we ask, we will receive. Do not let the devil condemn you into thinking that it's impossible to attain the holy spirit, that repentance is impossible, that you can't stop sinning. Because you can, you can choose to stop sinning if you know what you're doing is wrong. And the only way to know that you're doing wrong is through that which Jesus is giving you. He's knocking at your door, it's your choice to let him in. He is the light and very soon he will stop knocking on the doors of all men and women. They have their chance to let him in but he left.
And they opened the door to darkness and to judgment and to wrath. So we truly just encourage you to seek Jesus now, to seek the light to abide in him, and to shine your light be it to yourself to whomever wherever or whomever Jesus leads you to shine your light to. Don't let the devil stop you from doing that. Because the devil will play every tactic in the book(to sister Anzhelika, this idiom means to do everything one can to achieve something, to try his best) to get you, to stop shining the light, to get you to stop seeking after Jesus. But Jesus doesn't want you to stop seeking after him and that's a lie from satan. You must keep fighting with Jesus. You must keep going with him. Don't let the devil accuse you or lie to you or make it seem impossible. Jesus is always there and he hears the prayers of those who are seeking him.
