我读一下记载在约翰福音15章中耶稣说过的话。1“我是真葡萄树，我父是栽培的人。 2凡属我不结果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡结果子的，他就修理干净，使枝子结果子更多。 3现在你们因我讲给你们的道，已经干净了。 4你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。 5我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。 6人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯干，人拾起来，扔在火里烧了。 7你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面，凡你们所愿意的，祈求，就给你们成就。 8你们多结果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。”

很多基督徒和犹太人相似，都忘了葡萄树是谁。对犹太人而言，法利赛人和律师是葡萄树。他们相信他们的圣殿是葡萄树，他们的经卷是葡萄树。而且他们认为只要他们与自己的经卷《妥拉》相连，只要他们与了解经文的拉比相连，那么他们就有生命。但他们完全忽略了生命的真葡萄树。他们是不可能结出好果子的枝子。同样地，基督徒也忘记了葡萄树是谁。基督徒认为他们的教会组织就是葡萄树。他们在这方面犯了致命的错误，他们甚至教导信徒们，如果他们离开会众，他们就会像从葡萄树上折下的枝条一样。他们实际上认为教会本身就是葡萄树。他们已经忘记了弥赛亚的存在。而另一些基督徒认为他们的《圣经》就是葡萄树。他们表现得好像他们必须和《圣经》连接在一起。因为他们相信圣经是一切生命的源泉，所以他们会设立查经班；他们会把人们聚集在圣经周围，敬拜圣经，向圣经祷告，从圣经中寻找预言。他们也忘记了唯一的真葡萄树，耶稣基督。他们是被剪掉的枝子。他们也不可能结出好果子。除非你是与葡萄树相连的枝子，而葡萄树就是耶稣基督，否则就不可能结出好果子。你是否认识耶稣基督，你是否结出好果子？还是，你已经被剪掉了，或者你即将被剪掉？愿耶稣的恩典与你同在。

Forgotten Vine Lost Branches

I read the words of Jesus Christ from John chapter 15. I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

A lot of Christians and Jews alike have forgotten about the vine. For the Jews, the Pharisees and the lawyers are the vine. They believe that their temple is the vine, their scriptures are a vine. And they think as long as they're connected to their scriptures, the Torah, as long as they're connected to the Rabbi who knows the scriptures, then they have life. But they have completely disregarded the true vine of life. They are branches that cannot possibly bear good fruit. Similarly, Christians have forgotten the vine. Christians think that their church organization is the vine. They have gone dreadfully wrong with this. They even teach those in their congregation that if they leave their congregation, they will be like a branch broken off from the vine. They literally think that the church itself is the vine. They have forgotten about the Messiah. Other Christians suppose that their bible is the vine. They act as though the bible is what they need to be connected to. And because they believe the bible is the source of all life, they will put on bible studies; they will gather people around the bible, to worship the bible, to pray the bible, to seek out prophecies from the bible. They also have forgotten about the one true vine, Jesus Christ. They are branches who are severed. They also cannot possibly bear good fruit. It is impossible to bear good fruit unless you are a branch connected to the vine and that vine being Jesus Christ. Do you know Jesus Christ and are you producing good fruit? Or are you cut off or are you going to be cut off? May the grace of Jesus be with you.
