Hello, everyone. It's a privilege to be here tonight. And we'd like to be here to come and serve, to come and share with you what Jesus has given to us. And you know, it's so wonderful to be alive and to be a life for Christ, And with Christ living in us, without Jesus, we don't have any hope. We don't have any future. We have nothing. But with Jesus, we have everything.
It is not about us, it is about Jesus, and it is about the Kingdom of God. And that is why we are here and we are not here to come and talk about ourselves, or our own achievements, or our own knowledge, or anything that we have done. It is all because of Jesus and about his kingdom, and that is why we are here to come in, magnify and lift up the name of Jesus, and to come and talk about Jesus, our king, our lord and our master, because we are his witnesses.
We are children of God, by his grace and by his mercy. And therefore we have the liberty to come tonight and come and talk about Jesus, because by is mercy. He stretched out his hand of love to us, and he loves us. He cares for us. So very few people really believe that, so very few people really trust Jesus. We want to issue a warm welcome here tonight to everybody. And we pray that we will all be blessed by our fellowship with Jesus, with our Lord in our master. That is what it is about. And I thank Jesus for everyone who is here tonight to fellowship with us and to come and share what the lord Jesus is giving to us, what he is teaching us. It is all about him. It is all about doing the will of God.
And you know, dear friends, it is so wonderful that when we put our focus on Jesus, and we start following him, start seeking his kingdom, then our whole outlook on life changes. Everything changes. Because we are not limited anymore. It's not about how we see things anymore. It is about Jesus, and he is king of kings, a lord of lords. We are limited by resources. We are limited by our knowledge, by many things. But Christ is unlimited. And we come into the household of God, and we become part of thy mighty kingdom that is without balance.
Dear friends, I want to talk tonight about our biggest enemy, that enemy that prevents us from doing the Will of God, from being what Christ wants us to be, from going where he wants us to go and from saying what he wants to say and doing what he wants us to do.
And that person is the one that you see when you look into the mirror, and that is the self, and that is no wonder That Jesus said that if any man wishes to come after me, he must deny himself daily, pick up his cross and come here, follow me. Why did Jesus say that? It is because the self is our biggest influence. People are self-conscious. People want to exert themselves. That is what we are. We are conscious about our own desires, about our own ambitions, about our thoughts. It's all about me. And that is not what it is about When we follow Jesus, we've got to replace everything that is self with Christ, with Jesus. Instead of being self conscious, we must be Jesus conscious. Instead of self confident, we must be Jesus confident. our trust and our faith must be in Jesus.
So many people walk around with insecurity, and they say they don't know if God loves them anymore. Dear friends, God loves us and His love never changes. We change. People stop loving each other, people stop liking each other. But Jesus never changes. And because we change, we think that the Lord will change. He cannot change. Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He does not change. what he said yesterday, He is still the same today. Jesus came and he paid that price on Calvary for us so that we can be set free from the bondage of sins, so that we can become children of God. Jesus said, lo, I'm with you always. And he meant it. He is with us every moment. He hears every word we say. He knows every thought even before it comes to our mouth. Jesus never leaves us, not one single moment.
People say, I pray, but I don't know if God is hearing in my prayer. God is hearing my prayer. Of course he is, because he knows even what I think. He knows the doubts that are in me. And it is because of that lack of faith, lack of trusting in Jesus, but that overwhelming emphasis on ourselves that people do not follow the note that they do not trust the Lord. They are so busy with themselves. They are so busy with their doubts. They are busy with the things of the world. There are thoughts drive them. And that is why Jesus said, We must deny ourselves every day and come here follow him. It is not about me, friends. It is about Jesus. It is about his kingdom.
It is not about what I think. It is not the way that I see it, because my outlook on life is skewed. My insight is limited, and therefore others make sure that I put my focus on Jesus, nothing, and nobody else, not all myself. Our worst enemy is ourselves, our own thoughts, our own desires. And we gonna focus on Jesus. We've got to do what he wants us to do. Friends, that does not come naturally. to do The will of God takes effort on our part. We have got to wake up in the morning, listening, wake up in the morning, tuned in to Jesus. We cannot follow him if we are not tuned into him. And the worst thing that we can tune into is our own thoughts and our own doubts and our own perceptions. What is important is the will of God. And I know the will of God when I listen to him, when I listen to his spirit, and I've got to seek him. People say they can't hear the Lord. But they don't wait on the Lord either. They are not tuned into the holy spirit. They are not constantly aware and focused on Jesus. They get distracted by their own thoughts and by their own mind and by the things of the world. They start watching the news, and they see everything happening around them. Dear friends If we belong to Jesus, then he guides our footsteps, and nothing can happen to us that Jesus does not allow. He designs our life. He is the author of life. And if we belong to him, then everything that comes our way, it is from him. And we must ask him why it's happening. Whatever happens in my life, and I don't like it or it's uncomfortable, we must ask the Lord. we must say, lord, why is this? Why is this happening to me? Because nothing can happen that Jesus does not want us to happen. If we need to be chastised, then he will make sure that we are chastised and disciplined and corrected, so that we can share his holiness. Jesus came to this Earth to bring fire, a fire that will purify his children. Because dear friends, everything will be salted with fire. That's what Jesus said. He said, every person will be salted with fire. If we are not salted, if we are not purified, then we will be burnt in the end, because every branch in him there does not bear fruit, will be cut off and burn. We need to bear fruit. We need to be grafted into the vine. And we must be doing the will of the father. We must be pleasing to Jesus. But we can only do that when we deny self every day. Maybe yesterday, we denied self and our focus was on Jesus, but then today, self creeped back and we did not crucify him. And then when self rules, then Jesus is not ruling anymore. Self wants to rule. Self wants to take the master to sit on the throne on my heart. And that place is reserved for Jesus. It's not about my feelings. It's not about being offended. I feel a thing that often so bad. friends My feelings do not matter. They do not count. What matters is that I'm pleasing to God. Somebody says to me they don't feel good, even though they have accepted the Lord Jesus. And I believe they are saying they don't feel good. So dear friend, you need first become obedient to Jesus. Because it's only when we are obey Christ, and when we do his will, then the feeling good starts, because then he confirms to us that he is pleased with us. We can be in a worse circumstances. We can be in the biggest uncertainty. We can be in the midst of the most severe tribulation, and we can be suffering in pain. But if we know that Jesus is pleased with us, then we've got that comfort, that comfort in us that My God is pleased with me. Jesus said, I've come to do thy will of God. And that is what he calls us to is to do his will. That is why he says, deny yourself. We did not come to do our will. That is what the flesh wants. The flesh wants me to do my work. The flesh wants me to look after my future, to secure my future. Friends, the only way that we can secure our future is through obeying Jesus. Jesus said, seek 1st the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all the other things will be added unto you. We can get so worried about tomorrow. We can get so worried about how will we do this? And how will we eat our What will we drink? What will we clothes ourselves? If we seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, then he guides our way. Very few people trust the Lord. They say he's God almighty and he rules mighty universe. But they will not allow him to determine their lives. We cannot be pleasing to God if we do not believe him. We cannot please him if we do not fully trust him. And people trust each other, they trusting in other people, they moves that. And their happiness is determined by what other people think of it, whether they are accepted by society, whether they fit in. But they couldn't care about whether God cares, God is pleased with them. friends. All the matter is that Jesus will be pleased with us, that we will do his will. Now in Jesus, I want that cross. And when before, just when he was crucified, before he died, before he gave up the ghost, he said, it is finished. What was finished? He had finished what God had sent him to do. His mission was complete. the works that the father had given him to do with done. The sleight was clean, his job was finished. Mission accomplished. And you know friends, the Lord has called each of us to do works, good works that he has prepared for us to do. He has called us for a purpose. He is sending each of us on a mission. And very few people go on their mission. Very few people answer to the call. They Are too busy with self. Because self rules their life. And because of that, they are unfruitful. They are fruitless. They are tuned in themselves. Jesus says, whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, pick up his cross daily and follow me. Self is our biggest enemy. And we must never allow self to rule. The moment self rules, then Jesus is not in control anymore, because Jesus will, he will not force us. He will not force himself on us. But we need to submit ourselves to him. Now Many people never get away from the 1st principles of faith. They keep on going back to the same things. They keep on going back to the same sins. They keep on worrying about themselves. They keep on patching up the flesh. And that is why they never get into the walk with lord. They are held back by self, friends, and that is why Jesus said, deny yourself, pick up your cross every day, Follow me. We should not take ourselves seriously. Self must die. We must only be aware of Jesus every day. Say, lord, I am here to do your work. Lord. I care about your kingdom. What is your purpose for me today? I must complete the work that the Lord has laid before me for today. And I can only do that if I deny self, if I put him down, if I put my foot on his head and say "self, you are subdued. And I'm listening to Jesus. Today is the day of the Lord." It is the day that the Lord has made. And let us rejoice and be glad in it. And let us do the will of God. Because once we started listening to self then we become insecure and miserable and unfruitful and not good for any good work. Then we are just unto ourselves. We started talking and we started destroying ourselves and everybody around us. We've got to be focused on Jesus. Friends. That's what the devil wants. The devil is sympathizer. now He says so sorry for you, and he just wants you to, you know, to feel good and feel accepted. But that is the worst company that we can know. That is why many people want fellowship. You know, they want somebody else to rub their back and to pet them on their back and say, "oh, my brother, you know, you are so good." friends. We need fellowship with Jesus. And Jesus does not treat us softly. It does not treat us with kid gloves. I can tell you that there were times in my life I felt extremely sorry for myself. And then, instead of getting sympathy from the Lord then he treated me harshly. Why is it? It is because he himself learned from what he suffered. There is now good in us. Nothing good in us. There is nothing worthwhile to be patched up in me.
All what I gonna to do is that I gonna to follow Jesus. I will never become good. People think that they are good and they are getting better. That is what psychology and Satan tells you. Are you getting better? Are you just getting better all the time? Friends, we are not getting better. We are still be more obedient every day. And we are only pleasing to Jesus as long as we are doing his will, not when we are being better. Now, people want to be better at doing the will of God. That's nonsense. Either you obedient or you not. That's it. Either I'm in the world of God, or I'm not. You know, it's like people who they want to stop smoking, so they are smoking less. So what is the difference? Hes still smoking. Its still a smoker. So you want to steal less? Are you less of a thief? You want to lust less. Are you less a fornicator with the world? You're still a sinner. You're still a smoker. You're still a thief. You're still in love with yourself. You still have not submitted yourself to Jesus. You are still just doing what you want to do. You are not submitted to the holy spirit of God. A lot of people believe they are saved, but ... by their deeds. They are not following Jesus. We are only saved to be following Jesus. There are a lot of people keep on repenting for the same sins all over again. They never repented. They never turned away from themselves. They're still busy with themselves. They still carrying that package along. And you cannot go through that narrow door carrying the self along. Self is gonna die. Because it is only the works that we have done in obedience to Jesus it will count in the end. that man is keeping us back himself. He's going to die every day. We've got to subdue, put him down, put him out. And he's a survivor. He was too survival so that he comes back every day. You gonna put him down. He's resiliently strong itself. He doesn't want to stop. And he is the devil's best friend. But friends, we got to be a friend of Jesus. Jesus, he drank that bitter cup. And the cup that the lord will give us some days will be better. It will be unpleasant. It please the father to bruise Jesus. It pleased him to do it. Why would we be treated any differently? And that is why we should not take ourselves seriously. We should not thank other people seriously. We must take Jesus seriously. Because if we take self seriously, if we take other people seriously, we will be distracted, and we will not do the will of God. We may seek to do the will of the Father. We must seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness. Listen to the holy spirit, say, "Lord, Tell me what is important to thy Lord, What is your will for me to do, for me to say, I'm going to speak the words of Jesus, not what I feel like, because if I start thinking what I feel like, then self is back on the throat, and then Jesus is out the door, and then I cannot be pleasing to God.
Our focus must be totally on the Lord, on his words. So many people also self confident, because they also accomplished. They have achieved so much in life. They have learned so much. They know so much. friends. That is what we've got to deny is the Self. So many people are so full of knowledge, so full of Bible knowledge, so full of other knowledge of that they have acquired. The only knowledge that really matters is knowledge of God. And their knowledge of God makes us humble. It also makes us realize that in me, it is nothing good, there is nothing worth defending. And Jesus said, turn the other cheek. Jesus said, if somebody forces you to go within one mile, go with them two miles, why is it? Because self must not reign anymore. We must obey Jesus. People say it's impossible. It is impractical to to follow Jesus, to obey his words. And his words are just idealistic. And you cannot be taken literally. Friends. We got you literally obey Jesus. There is no other way. We've got to be recklessly brutal with self, because that is always the enemy, that is the one that could keep us out of heaven, that is the one that prevents us from doing the will of God. We've got to submit everything to Jesus every day. Ourselves is limited, even though we think that we are also good, even though that we think that we are clever, we are really, we are really nothing. We are just a breath away from death. And everything that we have is a tender life, that we think is very important, it vanishes in one moment, that moment that we breathe in our last breath. And then we stand before Jesus, and then we have got to answer to the Lord. And then he would say to us, Why did you not ask me? Why were you so busy with yourself? Why were you limiting me by not looking at me? You were looking at yourself. Friends, if we truly born again of the spirit of God, then we see the Kingdom of heaven, then we see Jesus, then we don't see the limits, then we see the power of God that can work. So many people refuse to follow the Lord because they tried to fit the Lord into their perspective, into their point of view, into their circumstances. But we have to reign within our own circumstances before God will take us out of those circumstances. We've got to overcome our own circumstances. We've got to overcome self 1st before we can be fruitful for the Kingdom of God. If we do not overcome the self, then we are like like a motor car that is standing, and the motor is running, but the gears are not engaged. And you can rev it up and you make a big noise, and you can have smoke coming out at the back of the exhaust pipe. And you can try and impress people with a big motor and without nice that motor car is, but it's not moving an inch. It's just standing there. that is when self is in control. It is only when we put our faith in Jesus and we obey him, that the power of God engage us that gearbox, and he attracts us where we previously focus Impossible. It is by faith that we are mobilized, not faith in ourselves. this world wants you to believe in yourself. Psychology and others, There's teaching from the Devil that tells you you must believe in yourself. It's all about you. You know, you're the best person now. It's not about you, and it's not about me. We are nothing men. It is about Jesus. It is a power of God that works mightily in those who submit themselves to Jesus. It is not about our wisdom and what we think and what we have, what we have talked ourselves and what we have read. It is about the spirit of God that dwells in us, that puts his words in our mouth to speak his words when we need to speak it. But our mind is going to be on Christ. We've got to deny the self all the time. And said, Lord, you speak through me, lord, let me be a big pleasing to thee. I'm here for thy spirit. Friends, the sons of God are those who are led by the spirit of God constantly. If we do not deny the self, we cannot be led by the spirit of God. We will not listen, because we will push God to the one side. The spirit of God wants to work mightily through us once we become obedient. And what is it that is holding us back? That inhibition? People say, I can't do this. I can't do that. Of course you cannot obey God. Of course I cannot obey God If I just want to, then people will want to. They don't trust God, they trust themselves. And they would rather be inefficient and useless and say, I can do all things through Jesus Christ. It gives me the power. You can witness for Jesus. You can speak about the glory of God. You can heal the sick. You can do the mighty works of God, if you listen to Jesus, if you submit yourself to him. But if we keep on hoping on ourselves, and we keep busy with ourselves, then we are fruitless. Then we can do nothing For the Kingdom of God, Jesus will not make us do anything that we cannot do. He will not guide us any way we cannot go. But if we don't want to go, he will not force us to go. He says, if anyone wishes to come after me, let him deny himself, pick up his cross, follow me and Jesus will not take you on mission possible. he will take you on mission impossible. That which you cannot physically do. That there we those things which you do not know. You will not take you on places where you know very well, where you can boast and say, oh, well, I knew it so well. You will not draw on your talents. He will equip you years. And then when you realize that without Jesus, you can do nothing, and he will use you. But if we still got that selfish pride in us, and this sin is in all of us, if we still lean on that, then God cannot work through us. You've got to deny it. You've got to deny the self, selfish pride, the accomplishment. You know that? Oh, I did it. Oh, you know, I knew the right thing to say. I just said the right thing. You know, when you say the right thing is when you hear from God and you say, well, that which I just said, that which just came up in my mind, that was not from me, that was quicken by a spirit of God. It's not because I'm such a bright guy, but it is because my ears are open to the Lord because I am listening to him, and not because I am such such a smart person. Dear friends Our biggest enemy is self. and it will be our biggest enemy until the very end. Because he is a person that makes us withdraw from Jesus. If we put our hand to the plough and we withdraw, he will have no pleasure in us. We can't go all the way with Jesus until the finish line. And if right at the end we withdraw, then he also will have no pleasure in us. We must endure until the end. We must deny ourselves every day, pick up our cross and follow Jesus. You just say, lord, thy will be done. Because he has prepared works for us to do, and we have to complete those works. And you know we read in a Revelation chapter 3, he says, I have found your works not to be completed In the sight of my God. we got to ask ourselves that question every day, lord, did I finish my homework today? Did I do today what you wanted me to do? Was I fruitful in your kingdom today? Did I bring glory to the kingdom of God? Lord, Was I A good servant of your kingdom? That is what it is about. A servant does not really have self-esteem. The only thing the servant is concerned about is doing the will of his master. And that is what we are called to be, his servants. We must become servants of the Kingdom of God. Because if we submit ourselves to Jesus, and if we suffer with him, then we will be glorified with him. But if we elevate ourselves above Christ, then we withdraw from the grace in God, and we are all standing on our own. Dear friends, Jesus is with us all the time. He will not leave us one moment. But we must not leave him. We must not allow self to get on the throne and to dethrone Christ, because then we are on the throne, and then he will say to us, "You had no business with me. You were busy with yourself. Go away from me. You sin." dear friends, sin is not just what we regard as sin. Sin is disobedience, disobedience to God. If we do not trust the Lord, if we doubt the Lord, doubt is sin. And if we have got an evil heart in us that we doubt the Lord, then we've got to repent to that. If we get busy with ourselves, we got to repent of self, because that will take us to hell friends. God does not tolerate any deviance. He's not interested in what I think, because the moment I think, And I'm not obedient to God. Then I am busy with myself. And that is our enemy. That is the one that will keep us out of the kingdom of heaven. We've got to run that race until the very end. We've got to perform every step of the way. We've got to perform every day. We've got to do the will of the father every day without expecting to hear "oh, My son, you are doing so well. Oh you're fitting in here. Friends, The ... comes at the end. If we endure until the end, if we want to be petted on the back all day, and we feel good about ourselves, then, man, then we're not in this race for the long war. Then we are in there for the glory and the ... We should rather be glad when we are persecuted and rejected every day, because then it must make us all the more determined to carry on and do the will of God. If the Devil comes against you, you've got to just be out there and you've got to fighting with all the power that you got, because when you run out of power and you stand, then Jesus will stand with you. It doesn't matter what people say to you, it doesn't matter how people react to you. What matters is that we are doing the will of God. Nothing else happens. Friends, if God has told you to do something, then do it, Man. Don't doubt 2nd guess, and don't go back and go and ask some more questions, and don't ask other people what they think about it, and not worry about what they think. What matters is what God says, and that I do it exactly the way that He wants me to do it. He is concerned about my performance, about my obedience, not about my opinion. He didn't ask our opinion. He didn't ask us about our feeling. How would you feel about doing this? How would you feel about doing that? No, he says, deny yourself. Pick up your cross and come here, Follow me. And do not shrink back. Jesus never shrunk back Once. Not once. Can you imagine Jesus shrinking back? Can you imagine that? Can you imagine Jesus running away? No. He came to do the will of the father. And we should not shrink back. We should not doubt. We should not be deterred. It doesn't matter what people say. It doesn't matter whether they listen to you. It doesn't matter whether they like you or they like your face. If they like you, then there's got to be something not too good, or they like you now, tomorrow they're not gonna like you because people are like that. People like themselves friends. People love themselves. They gratify themselves. We've got to get our focus on Jesus. And don't think about how difficult the road is. don't think how impossible the task is. Because God will not give you the possible tasks to do. He will give you the impossible tasks to do. And now it's so amazing. I've got children here. Young people said to me that they wore the T-shirt today to school. And they went to their work afterwards wearing it. A lot of people say I weren't wearing it. They will, you know, they say, if I testify to people and then they will not listen to me, if I testify, then I will get rejected. If I wear a T-shirt, then people will ,with Jesus honor, then people will really kill me. If, there is not if with Jesus. He's just doing, just doing what the lord tells you to do, just being a witness, just being obedient, without asking questions, without doubting, without looking back, just set your face like a ... and do the will of God. Just stand against the devil. A lot of people, they run away from the devil. That's one thing you cannot do. You cannot give the devil your back. You know, if you want to win a fight and you never give your enemy, your opponent your back, then he is going to beat you up. A lot of believers are not even in the fight. They are the friends with the devil, or they aren't running away from them. friends. We've got to stand. we've got to deny ourselves, and we've got to stand up and obey Jesus. And he's there with us. He will never leave us. He will never forsake us. He will never let us down. He is with us. The Lord, our God, is mighty. He is mighty in us. But if we deny him in us, how can we stand? Jesus says, I'm with you. Fight the good fight. You say to the Lord, but I'm scared. So if you scared, then you're not trusting in Jesus, then you know, you don't obey him. You're not listening to him. He says, come on, put your hand to the plough. But you say "I can't do that." No quitters were going to the Kingdom of heaven friends. No ..., cowards we are here to do the Will of God, we've just got to set our faces like flint and say, lord, I'm here for service, deny myself, pick up my cross every day, say, Lord, jesus. I don't care how I feel today, today I am here to serve you. You've given me one more day, one more day for the Kingdom of God, one more day to work for Jesus, one more day to serve the Kingdom of heaven, one more day to please my master. That's what it is. It's about Jesus. We've got to be aware of Jesus. We've got to be conscious of Jesus, not conscious of ourselves. Friends. Don't look forward to who is coming along. Because if you look who is coming along, I can ensure you're not going to see many people coming along. If you walk with Jesus, you are going to be lonely, man. But you never lonely, you never, you are always with Jesus. And you know how wonderful it is, the Lord opens our minds and gives us words. It was this morning, somebody asked me about, he cannot make a commitment about following the Lord. And it just came into my mind. You know, by the holy spirit says, walking with Jesus is like swimming. You know, you cannot swim if you don't dive in. You gotta dive in at the deep end. You cannot be swimming if you hold on to the side. You cannot be swimming If you are playing around in the shallow waters. You cannot be swimming if you're looking for other people to hold your hands. You still try and hold other people's hands while you're swimming. You gotta go down. Both of you are gonna go down. So the company that we have to have is a company with Jesus. It is being with him doing his will all the time. It's not about you know, about being with friends, about being accepted by other people. You're gonna be in the deep water there, like with the waves washing over your head. But I'll fight to get to the top, friends, because the water is deep, see, but you got to to swim, man, you got to to swim. You gotta make progress. You cannot not just stand the trading water. You gotta grow. You gotta make progress. You got a goal for it. you gonna do what the lord tells us to do. Dear friends, we gotta deny ourselves. That's a message tonight. The lord has put it in my heart. And maybe his words permeate into us and get into us, and we remember it every moment. It's not about me. It's not about giving up. It's not about thinking about myself and my own feelings. It's about Jesus. Keep our eyes focused on Jesus, and he will guide us, and he will use us for his kingdom. We start looking around at ourselves, and we don't deny ourselves. We won't make any progress. Praise Jesus. Hallelujah, Let us pray together. Heavenly father, We just come humbly before thee, Lord. And we thank thee, Lord. We can be with thee Lord. We thank thee that we not alone. We thank you that the Holy spirit is with us all the time, every moment. Lord, to culture us, to correct us, to chastise us for thee. But Lord above all, we know that it is because of our endless lifeload that we experience these things. And that is why we have to endure because we love thee We endure, because we love thee we obey, because we love thee lord Jesus. We deny ourselves. We pick up our crossing. We follow thee every day Lord. It was because of love. that's all. Jesus never gave up. But even though they in the garden of Gethsemane, three times, he went and he prayed, and he was switching blood, saying, father, if it be thy will let this cup pass in front of me, but not my will, but thy will be done. And in the end, he received the strength to go through and to pay the price, and to come to that point very sad, it is done. The job was done. It was completed, and we thank the Lord Jesus for showing us a way Lord. So that we tonight can with confidence, deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow thee lord, and with thee in us, Lord, with thy spirit with us, and the confidence that we have, the trust we have in the Lord, we want to endure until the very end, we bless thy holy name, we thank the Lord, and we pray these in Jesus name, we pray father. Hallelujah, praise Jesus. dear friends. We are going to have communion Now. That is so wonderful that we can have the Holy Spirit regarding in us. Isn't it wonderful? Isn't it wonderful that the comforter lives in us to guide us every moment, to speak to us? And we're just gonna listen, just gonna say, lord, I submit to thee. I listen to thee. And when we do that, then Jesus makes us overcome. We overcome everything. We overcome the devil. We overcome the desires of our flesh, everything. but We just submit to Jesus. Hallelujah, dear friend, we praise his wonderful name, Hallelujah, dear friends. Let us pray the blessing of our Lord on the table. Heavenly father, we thank you, lord, for for this time, lord Jesus, we thank you for thy body that was given for us, lord, we thank you, lord, for a body that was prepared to come and suffer, a body like our own, that endured the pain, the suffering, the rejection, that was in every way tested and trialed, just as we are, but without sin. Lord. we thank thee that because of cavalry, because of our lord and master that have overcome all things, we have hope today, because Jesus overcame sin in the flesh. We can also do so because we have the spirit of the living God in us. We thank thee Lord Jesus that same spirit that raise thee from the dead can live in us Lord. And in that spirit, thy precious holy spirit, we have communion with thee Lord, and we can come into unity with thee. We want to endure until the very end Lord Jesus. We want to do thy Will. And we pray tonight, lord. And as we come tonight, and we come and take this communion lord, we do it in remembrance of thee Lord, and in strengthening of our ties and our faith with the Lord, we come and take participator of this bread and all this fruit of the wine, lord in remembrance of thee Lord Jesus, because if we don't do it, we don't have life in us. We belong to thee Lord. Thy spirit dwells in us, and we want thy power to live in us, lord we just come in total submission to thee We glorify thy holy name, lord. We pray in heavenly father Jesus's name. amen.
Hallelujah, In the night that our Lord Jesus was betrayed, he took bread and he broken, and he said, this is my body that is broken for you, eat this as often as you do, and remembers me..And we eat of the body of Christ, so that we can have life in ourselves.
