We're going to see if there's enough to do a live stream. Here the Lord's put a few things on my heart to encourage those in the body of Christ.
And what's on my heart is to let the true body of Christ know that you can overcome in the name of Jesus, if you want to overcome. The problem with organized religion, with dead religion is they don't believe in the power of Jesus. They believe in the power of self. They believe in the power in numbers, in organization, in church. They have the group mentality that you'll overcome by mentors and people, helping you overcome, like pastors, elders, people that you put over you. But they don't believe in the power of Jesus Christ. They think if you just get an accountability partner, you'll be able to do it.
But the truth is with men it's impossible to overcome addictions. It's impossible to get yourself out of sin, try as you might, you just won't overcome those addictions, those parasites, that hold you in the world. It doesn't matter how much you're gonna go to church, you know how much you're gonna try to get those out of your life, you're gonna still be stuck in sin until Jesus becomes your teacher, until you receive the seal of His Holy Spirit. And then Jesus himself will lift you up. He'll give you a new heart. He'll open your eyes and your ears to the truth. You need to make Him your only teacher. And you need to fall on Him . Don't fall on any other ground. All other ground is sinking sand. But if you fall on Jesus, you will be broken. He will break you for his purpose. But if you don't fall on Him , and the rock of the truth falls upon you, you will be crushed a powder. A lot of people are putting, they're putting all their effort to get addictions out of their life into the hands of people. They go to the church because they think that there is a program to help them get out of sin. And as long as they are going to that church, they do good but as soon as that church is shut down, or as soon as they move, those people fail them. Because people cannot be god.
The Holy Spirit is everywhere. And everywhere that we can receive Him. And He is our best friend. He is the one that will stick closer to you than a brother. But people will always fail you. Organizations will fail you. Brothers in the flesh will fail you. Churches will fail you. And pastors will fail you. But the Holy Spirit of the living God will stick closer than any brother. And he will be there to help you, and to teach you all things. But you have to surrender to Him and make Him your only teacher.
Stop going to men, start believing the words of Jesus, just as Jesus said, “call no one on earth your teacher, call no one rabbi, call no one father, for one is your teacher, your leader, your rabbi, He who is in heaven.” It is the spirit of God that leads us, not the spirit of church, not the spirit of religion, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit of the one true living God. You have the power to overcome sin in the name of Jesus Christ. And He will never leave you, He will never forsake you. Even if everyone else gives up on you, Jesus Christ will always be there for you. But you will stumble and you will fall, if you leave His side.
The biggest god in the whole world is you. Satan will convince you that you are your own god, do your own thing, live by your own standards, follow your own heart. You don't have to follow Satan as a witch, you just have to follow your own heart, and as long as Satan can convince you, you are your own god, do your own thing, follow yourself, then he's got you.
Following Jesus is not about following our own heart. It's not about feelings and running to men to make us feel good. But following Jesus is surrendering our own heart, our own will, our own desires to His will, that he may lead us and guide us. Too many people follow the god of this world. And the god of the world, the biggest god of this world is yourself, self, it's you. All Satan has to do is get you following your own heart, your own intentions, what you think will be right and as long as you're following what you think is right, what you think will save you. Then Satan will still be in control of your life.
There is no other name in heaven and in earth other than Jesus Christ who is able to save. No man can save you. No church can save you, no pastor, no sermon. If you want the living water and if you want the bread of life that comes down from heaven, you have to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord, your savior, and stop going to men. Don't put your trust in men. Don't put your faith in their organizations. Get to know Jesus Christ for real and he will raise you up on those eagles wings, he will set you free from all the shackles, all those chains that binds you. And if you pray to Him and ask Him to set you free, and give you the power the will power to overcome addictions, sin, bondage, He will give you the power to overcome. That maybe He will put people in your life to encourage you to overcome, that let those people encourage you, let those brothers and sisters point you in the right direction. But know that you are not being led by a brother or a sister, but that you're being led by the spirit of God.
Because as the true church, all of us follow the good shepherd. We don't follow one another. If we were to follow one another, we'd be lost, as all the organizations of men are lost, they're following each other. And because they're following each other, they are blind leading the blind. We have to make sure that we are getting all sorts of junk out of our life, parasites out of our life. A lot of people don't leave the areas that cause them to sin. You know, if going to the gym causes you to sin, then stop going to the gym. If watching tv or being on your phone causes you to sin, because you're getting on youtube and looking at pornography, get it out of your life. Whatever you have to do to get out of sin, do it. Because sin will take you to hell.
The one thing that keeps people out of the kingdom of God is their own sin, becoming your own god, elevating yourself instead of following Jesus Christ. I want to encourage you as your brother in the Lord, to do whatever it takes to get sin out of your life. Jesus is there for you. He will never leave you or forsake you. But it is your responsibility to do it. You can't buy off God. You know a lot of people think that they can just go on a mission trip, they can just get in church, they can pay their tithe, they can love on another, brother or sister, and that will be enough, that they're doing a good deed for God, so God will forget about their sins. But God has not required us to just go out and do good deeds. He's required us to get sin out of her life. What i mean by that is each of us have a road that we have to walk, that the Lord has called us to. And if we don't start walking according to that path, no matter what we do to try to appease God, we still won't be right with him.
A lot of us think it's just too hard to quit on addictions, to ask for forgiveness, to confess the things that we've done and because those things seem impossible to overcome. Then we try to buy off God by doing other things. This is where a lot of Christians get into church. They get into mission trips, they get into preaching, they get into giving to the homeless, because they think doing all these things will appease God, and that God will be happy with them for doing all these works that appear good before men. But at the same time they're not doing what God has required which is things as simple as apologizing to the the people they need to apologize for, repenting of their own hypocrisy, getting right with their wife, repenting of bad relationships, detoxing from alcohol, or getting rid of all the things in their life that are sinful, such as marijuana, and just wickedness that fills their house, getting rid of all the sins, and the family members that cause them to continue to sin. All those things they think are too hard to give up, so instead of giving those things up and living for Jesus the way he demands, they just try to appease God by doing outward good things. Those things will not save you. You can look good before men all day long, and at the end of the day, still have God say to you, “away from me, you who commit iniquity. I don't know you. You're in sin still.” That's gonna be a sad day for people who gave a lot of their time and their money to try to appease God but who didn't actually repent. That's gonna be a sad day. That's why Jesus said that many are gonna say, “didn't we do all these good deeds in your name? Didn't we cast out demons in your name? Didn't we preach in the streets in your name Lord?” And then Jesus will answer them, “away from me, you who commit iniquity, i don't know you.”
We do not want to hear that from our father in heaven. And if you want Him to say to you “good and well done, my faithful servant, enter into my kingdom”, then we have to make sure that we get those parasites out of our life, get those addictions out, get those temptations out of your life, stop going to the areas that cause you to fall to temptation. You know what those places are, maybe your own wife or your own husband doesn't even know, but you know. In your spirit, right from wrong, and you know what areas cause you to stumble and fall into sin.
And i encourage you as your brother, get those things out of your life. Because if you do, you're walking in the right direction by getting those things out of your life and choosing to walk with Jesus. He will purify you from unrighteousness. And if He sees you making an effort to go in the right direction, he's going to help you, because He loves you. He doesn't condemn you when you are trying to go the right way. But when condemnation comes is when you choose evil over good, when you choose darkness over the light of the truth, when you know what Jesus requires, and then you purposely choose to do what you know is wrong. The condemnation is not that we're not perfect. But the condemnation is that men know the difference between good and evil, and they willfully choose evil, that will condemn you to hell.
If you constantly do what is wrong, even though you know the truth of God in your heart, what will happen? When you die, knowing the truth but rejecting it in your spirit with your actions there's not going to be forgiveness for those who continue to sin without truly repenting. Get right with Jesus. There is a way for you to get right with him. But you have to set in your heart and your mind just to do it. And get right with God to mean business with him. I see your guys comments here. Praise Jesus. I hope that the true body of Christ is really being secured in the Holy Spirit under the wing of His protection.
Because the deceptions of this world truly are getting thick. People are being lost. They're being seared. A lot of people are so lost, because they're not hearing from the Holy Spirit. They can't distinguish between their own thoughts, what they're hearing on the internet. If you want to know the difference, you're gonna have to detox all of that. Get all those thoughts out of your mind. Just start praying. Go somewhere that's quiet, take some time off from all of that.
After you're dead if you didn't make it into the kingdom, the only thing that you're going to wish you did was quit your job or whatever you had to do to get rid of sin. You're going to wish that you listen to your conscience. You're going to wish that you led your family to the Lord. You're not going to wish that you worked more hours or that you made more money or that you bought that property or that you stored up extra for your family. You're just going to wish that you yourself were saved and that you led your family to Jesus Christ. I want to encourage the true body of Christ to start focusing on what will last. What will last is the words of Jesus and souls are also eternal. Your soul is eternal. Your family each and every one of us have an eternal soul. And Jesus wants us to win those souls into His kingdom. Win your own family. Remember that when Jesus called those disciples, He didn't call them just to be worldly fishermen, catching a lot of fish. He didn't call them to go out and just to be athletes, or just to be engaged in hobbies, and having fun in the world. What did He call those disciples to do? He said, “come, follow me, i will make you fishers of men.” And they left their nets. They left their father and they followed after the Lord. He made them fishers of men. What does that mean? Jesus wants each of us to lead souls into His kingdom, to fish for people, to call them out of the world and into his true kingdom. Souls are eternal. And if we win those souls by the grace of God into his kingdom, that we have just one an everlasting soul that will be with the Lord Jesus forever and not in hell. Do that for your family. Lead your family to the Lord. Stand up for what is right. Your family, your children, your parents, your grandparents, they know if you're a hypocrite, or if or they know if you're really a true believer in the Lord. Because hypocrisy speaks louder than words. Your actions will speak louder than words. Everyone knows the way you walk by your own feet. And if you show with your feet where you're going, people know that you are either a man of God a woman of God, or you are a man or a woman of hypocrisy. So lead with your feet in righteousness. Have those feet with the boots that bring the gospel of peace that all know that where you walk is the ground of righteousness, that when you come in the door that you are a man or a woman who is holy, that's gonna pull the line, tug the line of God, that you're not gonna compromise even if it kills you. You're not gonna compromise your relationship with Jesus Christ, even if you lose your job, you lose your family, that you've decided in your heart of hearts, that you will live for Jesus and you will die for him.
Every day is a day to live for Jesus Christ and to die to our flesh and every single day we could also physically die for our faith. Many people have the devil doesn't come hard against people who are lukewarm or who do not know the truth. But Satan may just kill you if you really are living for him. But who should we really fear? Should we fear the devil and losing our head? Jesus said, “fear the one who can throw your soul into hell after your body's dead.” We have to fear God. And when we chose to follow Jesus, we chose to live for Him every day and to die to him. Or to die to ourselves every day, to live for him. And some of us will have to physically die for our faith.
Are we prepared for that? If we've set in our heart and in our mind that we will even physically die for Jesus, then of course we would be willing to stand up to a compromising situation at a workplace or with our own wife or family, of course we'd stand up for what is true, but how in the world will you be able to die for Jesus, if you're not willing to just be open about living for Him every day? If you're living in hypocrisy, how would you die for Jesus one day. It would it wouldn't happen. You'd end up being like peter. You'd end up being too scared. And you would deny Jesus at the last moment. A lot of us think that we would die for Jesus, when it came down to it but if we're not actively living for him. Today we would just follow that same progression of denying Jesus. I don't want to deny my Lord and savior. I want to fully receive him, drink of His cup and no matter what it takes, push into the kingdom of God. All of us are going to die at some point. But will we have died in Jesus for him? And will He be able to say, “well done my faithful servant’? Or will He be ashamed of us? Do whatever it takes, to push into his kingdom. Don't let your father in heaven be ashamed of you. Be serious to get sin out of your life. Don't be like the Christians who are in church who live in hypocrisy, who live in sin who preach hyper grace. Don't be like them because Jesus Christ is against the hypocrite. He said that over and over and over again. Jesus was serious when He spoke about hypocrisy and getting the level of hypocrisy out of our life. Well i hope this encourages someone out there to get down to business and really start following the Lord by His Holy Spirit. Stay strong in the Lord and may Jesus bless you.
