今天大多数基督徒都知道上帝，因为现在每个人都能接触到经文，但不幸的是，大多数人在圣经之外不认识上帝。文士和法利赛人也是如此。他们可以清楚地知道经文和预言中应许的弥赛亚，但他们并不认识他。他们没有与他建立关系。今天的基督教比法利赛人知道更多关于天父的事，但大多数人并不认识他。
他们看不到他，听不到他。他们读过主的预言应许我们，不会让我们成为孤儿，但他们并没有认真对待这些预言。他们只与圣经建立了关系，他们与神没有个人关系。
主耶稣从没有应许1500年之后，我们会成为孤儿，有一本书会带领我们。而这却是现代大部分教会所相信的。这就是为什么今天如果你真想认识上帝，你必须到教会之外，圣经之外去寻求。主耶稣说 "我必到你们这里来"。（约14:18）
成为主耶稣基督的门徒，需要从他得着个人的操练，因为他从来没有用经卷取代自己，他预言和应许不会撇下我们为孤儿。（约翰福音14章）主说 “你们若爱我，就必遵守我的命令。 我要求父另外赐一位护慰者给你们，祂要永远和你们同在。 祂是真理的灵，世人不接受祂，因为他们看不见祂，也不认识祂；但你们却认识祂，因祂常与你们同在，并且要住在你们里面。 我不会撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。 不久，世人就看不见我了，而你们却能看见我，因为我活着，你们也要活着。 到了那一天，你们就知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。 接受我的命令又遵行的，就是爱我的人。爱我的，父必定爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”犹大，不是后来出卖耶稣的犹大，问耶稣：“主啊，你为什么只向我们显现而不向世人显现呢？”耶稣回答说：“爱我的人必遵行我的道，我父也必爱他，并且我们要到他那里与他同住。 不爱我的人不会遵行我的道。你们所听见的道不是出于我自己，而是出于差我来的父。 我还与你们在一起的时候，将这些事情都告诉了你们。 但护慰者，就是父为我的名而差来的圣灵，将教导你们一切的事，并使你们想起我对你们说的一切话。 (约翰福音 14:15-26 当代译本)
第一批基督徒是大多是没有受过教育和培养的门徒，他们没有随身携带经卷，但他们有主可以跟随。要成为一名基督徒，不是要学习经文，不是要成为神学家或文士。成为基督徒，是成为主耶稣基督的门徒，而做门徒是要顺服主。而是要听从他的声音，向他学习，成为他的样式。
主耶稣基督说，圣灵不会凭自己说话，他说的是从父那里听到的。在五旬节那天，圣灵真的开始说话了。主耶稣的预言对门徒们来说是真实的，已经实现了，但对我们来说，它是否已经实现了，还是，对我们来说，这些预言只是写在纸上，我们还在怀疑天父：天父真的会给我圣灵吗？或者，他会赐一位邪灵来带领我？如果我们还在这个阶段，那么我们就不认识好牧人的声音，我们就是迷途的羔羊。法利赛人很虔诚，他们缴纳什一税。
我想用主耶稣基督在路加福音11:5-13中的话来鼓励你们：耶稣又对他们说：“假设你在半夜跑去朋友家请求说，‘朋友，请借给我三个饼吧， 因为有一位朋友远道而来，我家没有什么可以招待他。’ 那个人在屋里应声说，‘请别打搅我，门已经锁上了，我和孩子们也已经上床了，我不能起来给你拿饼。’“我告诉你们，那人虽不念朋友之情，但是倘若你不肯罢休，继续请求，他最终会起来满足你的愿望。“我告诉你们，祈求，就会给你们；寻找，就会寻见；叩门，就会给你们开门。 因为凡祈求的，就得到；寻找的，就寻见；叩门的，就给他开门。“你们中间做父亲的，如果孩子要饼，你会给他石头吗？要鱼，你会给他蛇吗？ 要鸡蛋，你会给他蝎子吗？ 你们虽然邪恶，尚且知道把好东西给儿女，天父岂不更要赐圣灵给那些求祂的人吗？”(路加福音 11:5-13 当代译本)
我听到许多基督徒说，"我们按圣经所说的做"，但他们的做法都不一样。我们有多少人照着天父的话去做？我们是真的被神的灵引导，还是像法利赛人一样，把经文当成我们的全部？凡有上帝的灵引导的人才是上帝的儿女。

Most of christianity has got it wrong | Very few disciples
Unfortunately, most christians today know about God because now everybody has access to the scriptures but most don't know God outside of scriptures. The scribes and the pharisees were like that. They could clearly read the scriptures and the prophecies that promised us the Messiah but they didn't know Him. They didn't establish a relationship with Him. Christianity knows more about the Father than the pharisees but most don't know Him.
They cannot see Him, they cannot hear Him. They read the Lord's prophecies where He promised us not to leave us orphans but they do not take them seriously. They have a relationship with the scriptures, they don't have a relationship with God.
The Lord Jesus Christ never promised a book 1500 years later and leave us as orphans as most modern churches ended up to believe and this is the reason why today you have to be outside of church if you want to know God outside of scriptures. The Lord Jesus said: "I will come to you".
Becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ requires personal training with Him and because He never replaced Himself with the scriptures, prophecied and promised He will not leave us orphans. The Lord said: "15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:15-26
The first christians were disciples mostly untrained and uneducated people with no record of carrying scriptures with them but they had a Master they were following. To be a christian it's not about learning the scriptures, it's not about becoming theologians or scribes. Christianity has always been about becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and discipleship is all about obeying the Master. Hearing His voice and learning from Him to become like Him.
The Lord Jesus Christ said the Holy Spirit will not speak on His own authority but whatever He hears the Father will speak. The Holy Spirit spoke on the day of pentecost.
The prophecy of the Lord Jesus became true and reality for them but has it become reality for us or is it still just written on paper for us and we still doubting the Father? Will He give us the Holy Spirit or maybe an evil spirit to speak to us. If we are still at that stage then we don't know the voice of the Good Shepherd and we lost sheep. The pharisees were religious, they were paying their tithes.
I'd like to encourage you with the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 11:5-13
I've heard many christians say, "we do as the bible says" yet they all do it differently. How many of us do as the Father says? Are we truly led by the guidance of the Spirit of God or just like the pharisees, the scriptures is all we've got? Those who follow the guidance of the Spirit of God are children of God.
